David scored a hole-in-one on our par-3 14th hole during a tie against Scott Mowbray. He ran the ball up to the green, landing it perfectly in the cup. This put him 1UP in the tie, which he ultimately won.

While on his journey to play every golf course in Scotland, visitor Barry Smith hit a Hole in One at the 7th – a moment that deserves to be celebrated!
Back in November 2019, Barry was fortunate enough to receive a life-changing SPK Transplant (Kidney and Pancreas), after years of battling kidney failure and undergoing 18 months of dialysis.
Since April 2021, Barry has been on his “Scottish Kidney Golf Challenge” – aiming to play all 593 golf courses across Scotland (with a little flexibility as courses come and go).
Along the way, he’s also raising funds for Kidney Research UK, with a goal of £10,000, and he’s nearly there—currently standing at £9,259 raised!
